On this episode of How Do You KNOW? Dr Daniel Barth will be discussing what all is involved in the Fine Tuning of Nature.
Because we tend to suspect that much of the Universe is random chance Dr Barth will talk about what is random and what is inevitable. He will define the Invariant Properties of Nature also called the Constants of Nature and then go over Dirac's Large Number Hypothesis. A hypothesis where Dirac noted that the numbers 1040 and 1080 are common in nature, ratios, and numbers. Dirac claims that gravity weakens with time but this idea is beyond our ability to test.
Dr Barth will talk about how Dirac's Large Number Hypothesis has been tested along with how it is important and relevant today.
This is a discussion you do not want to miss. So check it out and learn about The Fine Tuning of Nature.
