Description

You can also equip your PULSAR dome with a drive set for the opening flap. The automation of this function facilitates night-time operation and enables the remote-controlled operation of your observatory. Manual actuation is then no longer required. This drive is designed for operation with the PULSAR 2.2 meter and 2.7 meter domes.

Power is supplied by a built-in lithium battery, which is supplied by the newly developed PULSAR induction charger is kept permanently operational. The optional induction charger is supplied with power centrally via the control unit of the coupling drive. The charging and battery details are easily accessible via the control unit of the rotary drive so that you can monitor the status of your shutter battery. Alternatively, an optional plug-in charger can also be used.

The drive system is permanently switched on and the opening flap can be opened or closed with the control button. Of course, the control can also take place via the PULSAR Observatories software. To do this, a Bluetooth connection is established with the PULSAR remote dome drive
